Upper Rock Bus Advertising Opens to Gibraltar Brands

Reaching Visitors at One of Gibraltar’s Biggest Attractions

The Upper Rock Nature Reserve recorded 907,841 ticket sales during the 2024/25 financial year. This represents a 44% increase compared with 2018/19 and demonstrates the continued growth of one of Gibraltar’s most important visitor attractions.

The introduction of electric shuttle services forms part of a wider effort to improve accessibility, reduce congestion and provide more sustainable transport within the Nature Reserve.

The shuttle service connects Marketplace with Queen’s Balcony, with a return collection point near Charles V Wall. Services operate throughout the day, placing the buses in front of visitors as they move between Gibraltar’s city centre and the Upper Rock.

Three Moving Advertising Locations

Advertising is available across the rears of three electric buses. Unlike a traditional fixed location, these campaigns move through Gibraltar and remain visible to pedestrians, drivers and visitors travelling behind the buses.

The format is particularly relevant for businesses operating within tourism, hospitality, retail, food and drink, leisure and visitor experiences. It gives brands an opportunity to reach people who are already exploring Gibraltar and deciding where to visit, eat, shop or spend their time.
