Ads.gi is looking for a Marketing Executive to join our growing team in Gibraltar.

We are looking for someone with hands on experience in digital marketing who is comfortable managing campaigns, working directly with clients and turning ideas and objectives into effective marketing activity. This is a hybrid marketing and commercial role. Alongside managing marketing activity, there will be opportunities to develop new business and sell advertising across the Ads.gi media network, with uncapped commission available on sales generated.

Salary will be in line with experience, with significant potential to increase overall earnings through commission.

THE ROLE

You will work across a varied portfolio of clients and campaigns, helping develop, execute and report on marketing activity across digital channels.
Responsibilities will include:

• Planning and managing digital marketing campaigns
• Managing organic and paid social media activity across the major social platforms
• Developing campaign messaging, copy and content ideas
• Managing email marketing campaigns and databases
• Working directly with clients to understand their objectives and develop campaign plans
• Managing weekly and monthly campaign objectives and targets
• Monitoring performance and making recommendations to improve campaigns
• Preparing client reports and communicating campaign results
• Coordinating internally with designers and the wider team
• Identifying opportunities to expand campaigns or introduce clients to additional Ads.gi advertising products
• Developing relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Generating new advertising and media sales where opportunities arise

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in marketing, digital marketing, social media or a related role
• Experience managing social media campaigns and paid advertising
• Strong understanding of the major social media platforms
• Experience with email marketing
• Strong written communication and copywriting skills
• Confidence communicating directly with clients
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines and priorities
• Comfortable working with campaign targets, performance data and reporting
• Commercially minded and comfortable identifying opportunities for clients
• Organised, proactive and able to take ownership of work
• Professional, discreet and comfortable handling confidential client information

SALES EXPERIENCE

Previous sales or business development experience would be a significant advantage.

This role provides the opportunity to generate additional income through the sale of advertising across the Ads.gi media portfolio. Commission is uncapped, giving commercially driven candidates significant scope to increase their earnings alongside their core salary.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND INTERESTS

We would be particularly interested in candidates who have an interest or experience in:

• Current affairs
• Public affairs
• Politics or political communications
• Community and social issues
• Policy and public engagement
• Automotive
• Advertising and media
• Brand communications
• Sales and business development

A good understanding of Gibraltar, its community, business environment and local current affairs would also be an advantage. A degree or background in marketing, politics, communications, business or another relevant field would be beneficial, although practical experience and attitude are equally important.

Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or the wider Adobe Creative Suite would also be beneficial, but is not essential. Ads.gi works closely with sister company Kenshō Agency, which can provide specialist creative and design support where required.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Competitive salary in line with experience
• Uncapped sales commission, providing the opportunity to significantly increase overall earnings
• A generous annual holiday allowance
• Company pension
• Exposure to a varied range of clients, industries and campaigns
• Support from the wider Ads.gi and Kenshō Agency teams
• Opportunities to develop both marketing and commercial experience
• Clear potential for career progression as the business grows

CAREER PROGESSION

There is significant scope for the role to develop as Ads.gi continues to grow. For the right person, progression could include increased responsibility across client accounts, campaign strategy and commercial activity, with the potential to develop towards positions such as Head of Marketing, Head of Sales or a wider management role within Ads.gi.

We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the business, take ownership and play an active role in developing both our clients and the Ads.gi brand. Studying marketing or at the start of your career?

While this particular vacancy is aimed primarily at candidates with some previous marketing experience, we are also interested in hearing from people who are currently studying marketing, communications, business or a related degree and are looking to begin their career in the industry.

You may not yet have professional marketing experience, and that is absolutely fine.

We are always interested in meeting ambitious people who have a genuine interest in digital marketing, social media, advertising, sales and communications. Any junior opportunity would be considered separately from the Marketing Executive position and would reflect the candidate’s current level of experience. If you are currently studying, recently graduated or looking for your first opportunity within marketing, we would still encourage you to get in touch and introduce yourself.
